The Mortgage House has built its foundation around our community involvement. We continue to give back to our community in many different ways. Throughout the year we run campaigns and volunteer our time to help different charities.
Our biggest contribution of giving back runs the month of December. Rack’d is our 24 days of giving in December, we volunteer our time, donate supplies and try to make everyone’s December a little easier.
Day 5 was a day dedicated to thanking healthcare workers, first responders, and community heroes for their service and dedication. Our team delivered treats to some well-deserved hometown heroes.
Members of our team collected new or gently used clothing to help keep individuals and families warm and supported during the winter months.
We shared warmth one cup at a time by gifting hot drinks or drink cards to those who could use a little comfort for day 8, Cups of Hope.
Our team got together for a delicious brunch and surprised our hardworking server with a generous tip.
From small gestures to big smiles, today is all about spreading joy and festive spirit throughout our communities.
We helped to keep kids warm by donating new or gently used coats to families in need during the winter season.
We volunteered our time to prepare and serve meals for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.
Several of The Mortgage House team members took time to deliver well-deserved treats and gifts of appreciation to educators who give so much.
For day 17, a few of our agents volunteered for their local Salvation Army Kettle Bells, helping to collect donations for the charitable organization.
For day 18, one of our incredible agents donated her time (and wrapping skills!) at Willowbrook Mall in Langley, BC, helping raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters Langley through their holiday gift-wrapping fundraiser.
This day is all about coming together to support families in our communities by providing meals and gifts during the holidays. Thank you to our team members who opened their hearts and showed what true community care looks like.
For Toys for Kids, so many of our team members showed up with generous hearts, donating piles of toys to help make Christmas a little brighter for well-deserving kids in our communities. Seeing the kindness, thoughtfulness, and care behind every donation was a powerful reminder that the smallest acts can create the biggest smiles.
Our team members took time to show care and appreciation by treating seniors in their communities to thoughtful gifts, sharing moments of kindness that went far beyond the presents themselves. From warm smiles to meaningful conversations, these small gestures helped remind our seniors just how valued and appreciated they are, especially during the holiday season.
