What we believe in

The Mortgage House has built its foundation around our community involvement. We continue to give back to our community in many different ways. Throughout the year we run campaigns and volunteer our time to help different charities.

Our biggest contribution of giving back runs the month of December. Rack’d is our 24 days of giving in December, we volunteer our time, donate supplies and try to make everyone’s December a little easier.

2024 RACK’d Campaigns

Day 1 – Pay it Forward

Our team spent the day paying it forward by buying coffee and groceries for the person behind them!

Day 2 – Lunchbox Love

It’s day two of our RACK’d campaign! Our Alberta team actively volunteers at the Mustard Seed in Red Deer throughout the year preparing sandwiches and packing lunches for students in Red Deer, and surrounding areas.

Today we encourage everyone to volunteer at their local Mustard Seed or similar organizations to help provide lunches for children in their communities who may otherwise go without.

Day 3 – Senior Support

Day three is all about supporting our local seniors. Several of our team members treated their local seniors by taking part in programs run by local organizations this Christmas season.

Day 4 – Christmas Dinner

Our TPTM team members helped spread holiday cheer by purchasing meals for local families in need, bringing warmth and joy to their Christmas season!

RACK’d 2024 – Day 5

Today, we’re focusing on giving back to our community by supporting local emergency shelters. Let’s come together to donate personal hygiene products, clothing, and winter gear to help those in need stay safe and warm this season. Every little bit makes a big difference!

Day 6 - Home for Dinner

A few of our Alberta team members recently volunteered for the Home for Dinner program, preparing a warm and delicious meal for the guests at Ronald McDonald House in Red Deer.

It’s always a privilege to give back and support families in our community during challenging times.

Day 7 – Cups of Hope

Today, we embraced the true spirit of the season by sharing a little warmth and cheer. We handed out gift cards to those in need, offering them the comfort of a warm cup of coffee and a reminder that they’re not alone this holiday season.

It’s amazing how a small gesture can brighten someone’s day and bring a smile to their face. Let’s all take a moment to spread kindness and compassion in our own way this Christmas—it’s the little things that make the biggest impact.

Day 8 – Helping Our Heroes

For day 8, we had the privilege of showing appreciation to the incredible heroes who work tirelessly to support our communities. We surprised them with some well-deserved goodies as a small token of gratitude for all that they do.

Their dedication inspires us every day—thank you for making a difference!

RACK’d Day 9 – Supporting Mental Health

Today, the entire TPTM team is coming together to support Foundry, an incredible organization dedicated to offering programs, services, and wellness support for young people in our communities. Together, we will be donating $860 to Foundry.

This holiday season, we’re proud to give back to an organization that makes such a meaningful impact. Thank you, Foundry, for all that you do to support youth mental health and wellness!

RACK’d Day 10 – Toys for Kids

For Day 9 off our RACk’d campaign, several of our The Mortgage House agents spread holiday cheer by donating toys to local toy drives! We’re so grateful to help make the season a little brighter for children who might not otherwise receive a gift this year.

A big thank you to everyone organizing these drives to create joy and magic in our communities. Together, we can make a difference!

Day 11 – Gift the Givers

As part of Day 11 of our Random Acts of Kindness campaign, we showed our appreciation for the hardworking delivery drivers who ensure our packages arrive safely and on time.

We provided them snacks and beverages to brighten their busy day. Their tireless dedication often goes unnoticed, and this was our way of letting them know how much they are valued and appreciated.

Day 12 – Christmas Carol Contest

On day 12 of the Random Acts of Christmas Kindness campaign we invited people to stop by our Innisfail office and serenade us with their favourite Christmas carol! The first person who stopped by to spread holiday cheer with a festive song won a $25 gift card!

Day 13 – Hunger Relief

Our amazing team members stepped up to support their communities by donating to local food banks, helping to stock the shelves and bring relief to those in need.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed—you’re making a real difference this holiday season!

RACK'd Day14 - Spreading Christmas Cheer!

Today, our team brought smiles and festive joy by handing out candy canes to brighten the day for others! There’s nothing like a small act of kindness to spread the holiday spirit and remind everyone that it’s the little things that make the season so magical.

RACK'd Day15 - Kettle Bells

Our team members volunteered to support our local Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaigns to fundraise for families in need. Every donation helps provide food, toys, and hope to those who need it most this holiday season.

Giving back is what this time of year is all about, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to make a difference. Let’s spread kindness and generosity together!

RACK’d Campaign Day 16: Blood Drive 🩸💪

Today, our amazing agents rolled up their sleeves to make a difference! By donating blood, we’re helping save lives and supporting local blood drives in our community. Together, we’re proving that small acts of kindness can have a huge impact.

RACK’d Campaign Day 17: Adopt a Family

Today, we had the privilege of spreading holiday cheer by adopting families in need. From gifts under the tree to essential items, we aimed to make their Christmas a little brighter and their hearts a little lighter.

Giving back is what the season is all about, and we’re so grateful to be part of a community that cares so deeply. Together, we can make a difference, one family at a time.

Day 18 – Coats for Kids

Our amazing agents came together to support local organizations and programs that provide warm winter jackets to kids in need. No child should face winter without proper warmth, and we’re proud to do our part to help families in our communities.

A big THANK YOU to our agents for their generosity and for making a difference—one coat at a time.

Day 19 – Elf the Teachers

For day 19, our team had the pleasure of spoiling our amazing teachers with treats and some much-needed supplies!

Teachers work tirelessly to shape the future, and this small gesture was our way of saying THANK YOU for all you do.

Day 20 – Supporting Hospice ❤

Today, we made a donation to our local hospice in memory of our loved ones.

We are deeply grateful for the compassion and dedication they show, bringing comfort and hope to families during the most challenging times.

Day 21 – Gifts of Kindness

Today is all about delivering thoughtful gifts to someone who could use a little extra kindness this holiday season. It’s amazing how a small gesture can bring warmth and light to someone’s day!

Members of our team treated others with thoughtful gifts, including delivering gifts of eyeglasses and essential items to those who need them in Honduras!

Let’s remember that the magic of the season is in the joy we share and the kindness we give. 🌟

Day 22 – Furry Friend Donations

Today, we spread the holiday cheer to our furry friends by donating to local shelters and programs that support animals in need. Every little bit helps provide care, comfort, and love to these deserving animals.

Because the holiday season isn’t just for people—it’s for our four-legged friends too!

Day 23 – Server Surprise

Our amazing agents are continuing their mission of spreading kindness through our Random Acts of Christmas Kindness campaign.

Our team organized breakfasts at local restaurants, with a twist—each attendee brought $50 or $100 bills to surprise their servers with generous, extra-large tips! 💙
