The Mortgage House has built its foundation around our community involvement. We continue to give back to our community in many different ways. Throughout the year we run campaigns and volunteer our time to help different charities.
Our biggest contribution of giving back runs the month of December. Rack’d is our 24 days of giving in December, we volunteer our time, donate supplies and try to make everyone’s December a little easier.
On the first day of our Random Acts of Christmas Kindness we made a big old delivery to the Christmas Bureau. The Christmas Bureau is something we have donated our time and toys to every year in this campaign, it is such a blessing to our community.

One of our favourite ways to volunteer is through the Home for Dinner program. This year, as they aren’t able to have volunteers into the house to cook dinner for their families, they are taking cash donations in order to purchase a meal from a local restaurant every evening.
As part of the annual The Mortgage House RACK’D Campaign, we made a cash donation in the amount equivalent to what we would have spent on groceries.

On day 11 of our The Mortgage House Rack’d campaign we wanted to show seniors a little love!! Chelsea’s niece prepared 80 gift boxes for seniors at the Sunshine Lodge in Drumheller. She wanted to make sure each resident got a box, each box contains a homemade scarf that she knit, hand lotion, sanitizer, and some chocolate! 
Seniors gifts at London Drugs:). Erin & Amber both made up $100 gift baskets and filled them up with slippers, blankets, treats, magazine’s, etc…
If you would like to join in on a tour we will be meeting at The Mortgage House office tonight at 6:00 for a Christmas light convoy!! For day 15 of our #24daysofchristmaskindness
The first person to send us a video of them singing a Christmas carol won a $25 gift card.
, there are lots of people to thank in Cheri’s community!! Not only did they donate a car load of food, they had over $200 in cash, $100.00 in gift cards and a cheque (not sure of the amount)...
She just got home however every day is a struggle health wise for Lisa, who is also a single momma to two.

On day 24 of the Random Acts of Christmas Kindness we are excited to announce the winner of our 2nd annual Christmas Light Extravaganza ?
Thank you soooo much to everyone who entered and brought joy to our community. I know my family sure loves seeing all the lights ❤️.
Number 15 was our winner with a close runner up of number 8, but really they were all so so amazing!!
